London's Marquee Club celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 1983. This DVD features performances from that year by legendary bands and artists such as Dr. John, Wishbone Ash, Osibisa, Alexis Korner, Man, Ten Years After, and Status Quo. Excerpts from the following artists are also included: Climax Blues Band (1984), John Watts & the Cry (1984), Mezzoforte (1984), Cherry Bombz (1986), and Ian Matthews (1984). Additional interviews include Phil Collins, Kenny Jones, Dave Dee, Alexis Korner, and Chris Barber reflecting on their appearances at The Marquee: one of the longest established venues in rock history over that period. It was also a launching pad for many of the world's biggest acts. This 25th anniversary release shows off the skills of Wishbone Ash, Dr. John, Osibisa, and many more regular performers of London's famed Marquee Club venue.
