Lu Yuan and Song Xiaoduo met for the first time as volunteers for the Beijing Olympics, but, at an age not knowing what love is, lost contact after the Games. Four years later, the two encountered at Beijing Olympic Garden, before parting again after a short reunion. Lu Yuan was arranged by his father to be a college student official at Xianyu village in the outskirts of Beijing, while Song Xiaoduo chose to study overseas. This time, the pair of young people having feelings for each other made a promise to meet at Beijing Olympic Garden on 8th August every year. As time passes by, they are both making progress and improving themselves, until Song Xiaoduo finishes her overseas study and Lu Yuan becomes an excellent community-level Communist Party member. As they become even more mature, the pair realizes their life value and gains beautiful love.
