Rags to riches to rags comedy loosely based on the director Steve Burrowsï¿½ actual experiences while writing screenplays in Los Angeles. Burrows (aka ï¿½Milwaukee Steveï¿½) finally makes it big as ï¿½The Crotch Freshï¿½ commercial guy, but then canï¿½t catch another break ï¿½ not even when he auditions for a new Crotch Fresh commercial! He decides the only way to make a comeback as an actor is to fake his own death, then make a glorious return. Before that idea pans out, Milwaukee goes on ï¿½Wheel of Fortuneï¿½, and become notorious when heï¿½s sued by the Merv Griffin Corp. ï¿½Milwaukee Steveï¿½ becomes a hot ticket, with numerous folks riding his coattails. However, after a studio hires him to write a script, nothing works out as planned. Desperate, broke, and depressed, Steve returns to Milwaukee, in mid-winter, to gain comfort from family and friends ï¿½ only to find his mother has rented out his room while on her annual trip to the Netherlands. ï¿½Milwaukeeï¿½ then recounts his Los Angelesï¿½ saga to his momï¿½s boarder as they explore some of Milwaukeeï¿½s more amusing locales. By the end of the film weï¿½ve met a host of crazy characters, and we are rooting for ï¿½Milwaukee Steve/The Crotch Fresh Guyï¿½ to find his own brand of ï¿½fame, fortune, cheese, and beer.ï¿½
