Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: Alister's Gorlag seems to be unstoppable, and Kaiba must resort to defensive tactics in his dueling strategy. Alister tells Kaiba how Gozaburo was responsible for the death of his brother, Mikey, during a war between his town and Kaiba Corporation. Even though Kaiba and Mokuba aren't to blame, Alister finds them as the culprits. If Kaiba doesn't defeat Alister, his soul will be captured. Meanwhile, Yugi and co. try to reach Industrial Illusions via the California desert. However, their driver randomly stops and makes a run for it, leaving them stranded.
