Knots Landing: Richard attempts to get his job back and Laura receives a call asking her to come get him. Laura ends up deciding to move back in after finding a note Richard has written in the rubbish. Vals publisher changes the name of her book to "Capricorn Crude". Gary refuses to attend the publishing party for the book. Karen and Lilimae see Abby and Gary coming out of an apartment together. Lilliame attempts to blackmail Gary into going to the party. Karen is follows by Val when she leaves the party and finds Abby and Gary together in the apartment. Val returns home followed by Gary and packs her things and drives off. Gary runs after the car.
