Passions: Ethan attempts to buy an engagement ring for Gwen. An intrusive jeweler attempts to give Ethan relationship advice and doesn't want to sell him the ring. During her first day on the job at Crane Industries, Theresa gets an unexpected visitor. Whitney and Chad talk about what went wrong with their relationship. Chad insists Whitney is to blame for the break-up because she continued to put her family before him. He forces her to make a decision. Luis worries when he doesn't hear from Sheridan. Beth keeps him from learning of Antonio's plans to elope with Sheridan. Beth is dismayed when Luis and Liz track down the name of the inn and call to check up on the missing couple. Meanwhile, Sheridan reluctantly agrees to sign the marriage certificate. Antonio excitedly prepares for the wedding, while Sheridan prays for Luis to rescue her.
