Prisoner Cell Block H: Bea hides in Vals garden until the cops leave and is spotted by nosy Yvonne the girl who lives next door. She tells Val that she knows who Bea is and wants to know more about her. Monica gets Lizzie to start making home brew and they get Lynn to smuggle in the yeast for it. She is very nearly caught by Vera but manages to hide it in the garden from where Lizzie retrieves it. After the booze is made Monica sells it on to the other women and leaves Lizzie with none. Steves acquaintance Marianne de Vere says shes interested in funding the halfway house. Karen gets permission to get out on study leave. Noelines brother Col tells her the family are in trouble and have no money. She suggests he robs a house where their mum worked but he is disturbed by Mrs Woods the pregnant occupier. He panics takes her hostage and shoots at a passing cop car.
