Prisoner Cell Block H: The kidnappers refuse to believe Lynns insistent cries that she isnt Monica. Joyce is visited by one of the gang and realises through what she says that they kidnapped Lynn instead. Urged on by Bea she tells Jim the whole story and he calls the police. The gang are arrested and Lynn is rescued. Back home with hubby Fred Monica goes to pay off his debts only to find he didnt owe as much as he said. When she returns home again Monnie finds that Fred has stolen all the rest of her money and taken off. Karens sociology lecturer Peter Clements comes to Wentworth to do a study on the prisoners. However in truth he is studying the staff instead. An elderly couple Edie and Horrie are evicted from their home by their landlord. They are turned away from a refuge after refusing to be separated and sleep rough. Next morning Edie wakes to find Horrie has died.
