The Bill: DI Nixon and DC Banks are in court for the trial of man accused of murder and attempted rape. PC Ryder persuades a reluctant witness to testify. Banks's wife, Naomi Woods, suspects the officers of coercing a witness, and successfully argues for a mistrial verdict. When another woman is raped, Nixon is convinced that Norris is to blame but Banks, reviewing the evidence, has doubts.
